Honored branch manager

Heather Williams has been named Branch Manager of the Year by City National Bank.

CNB is located inside the El Reno Walmart store.

City National Bank has 41 locations and has been a family-owned and operated bank since 1901.

Williams, who lives in El Reno with her husband and two children, has been with CNB for 14 years. She started as a retail banker before being named branch manager.

It’s actually the second time Williams has won the award. She was named Branch Manager of the Year by CNB in 2018 as well.

Two-day training set for Certified Mediator candidates

Body

A two-day training will be offered for anyone wishing to volunteer to become a Certified Mediator.

A mediator helps settle legal arguments before they wind up in court.

Stacy Horner is the director of the Mediation program. She said training is set for April 10-11 at Redlands Community College.

The day begins at 9 a.m. and normally concludes sometime in the afternoon.

Roblyer Student Council recently volunteered at the Oklahoma Food Bank.

Those volunteering were Nolan Wells, Dalton Faulkner, Gus Camarillo, Sarah Penick, Elijah McDaniel, Carson Findley, Alexa Henneman, Ryan Pugh, Angelina Alarcon, Blaklee Surovik and Ellie McVay, along with sponsor, Jennifer Hardaway.

Pierce named Conservation District award winner

Body

Kaitlyn Pierce was named the Outstanding Conservation District Employee of the Year for 2023.

The honor was presented her at the recent Oklahoma Association of Conservation Districts state meeting in Oklahoma City.

Pierce serves as East Canadian County Conservation District Administrative Assistant.

Damrosch Ladies Music Club will be performing Wednesday, March 20 at 10 a.m.

This free event will be held at Ellison Avenue United Methodist Church, 600 S. Ellison Avenue.

All are invited to come enjoy an hour of local talent and stay for refreshments afterward.
