Body Arriving in this world on April 22, 1939, Sandra Lou Leeds, 84, passed away on Oct. 1, 2023, after a brave fight against leukemia. She most recently resided with daughter, Linda, in Eufaula, Okla., who was her full-time caretaker for the past year.

Children’s JC to host Safe Halloween

Body The Gary E. Miller Canadian County Children’s Justice Center will host the third annual Safe Halloween event for a local school. On Tuesday morning, children ages 6 to 8 will dress up and fill their bags with candy and prizes as they tour the center.

Body Danny Wynn Reed and Dana Lynn Reed were born as twins on Oct. 2, 1953, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Jess Barton Reed Jr. and Mary Campbell Reed. Danny passed away Oct. 18, 2023, in Oklahoma City. Danny is survived by his sister, Karen Reed of El Reno.

Local church prepares for BBQ outreach
