Calumet remains undefeated in limited action

Body Despite losing six games to rain, Calumet High School’s baseball team remains undefeated on the summer season following a 6-2 road win over Arapaho-Butler. The Chieftains moved to 3-0 on the summer with the win. The other victories were over Sentinel (11-1) and Clinton (8-1).

Body Under new head coach Jason Little, El Reno High School's softball team will travel to Piedmont on Tuesday to take part in the second date of the Piedmont Summer League. El Reno defeated Edmond Memorial and tied the Wildcats in the first day of the league earlier this month.

Body Redlands Community College recently announced students named to the college’s honor rolls for the spring 2023 semester. Students listed on the President’s Honor Roll have completed 12 or more credit hours and have earned a GPA of not less than 3.

City clears path for Twisters filming

Body Twisters is coming to downtown El Reno as well as other areas of the community. Last week, the city council voted 5-0 to grant a permit to Dirt Road Films, LLC for the production of the expected blockbuster sequel to the original Twister.
