Lucas, Oklahoma legislators ask for results from beef pricing investigation

Body

Congressman Frank Lucas and 24 House members, including Congressmen Tom Cole and Markwayne Mullin, sent a letter to U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue asking him to release a beef pricing investigation’s findings to Congress as soon as possible.

The USDA initiated the investigation in August 2019 after a plant fire in Kansas, but recently expanded the investigation to include recent price changes.

The letter outlines the group’s concern about price changes when the country began taking measures to suppress COVID-19 infections.

Why would Gov. Andrew Cuomo even go there?

Body

I recently published a piece on Andrew Cuomo and other pro-choice Democrat governors who fight for life in their states against COVID-19.

This also includes Pennsylvania’s Tom Wolf, New Jersey’s Phil Murphy, Connecticut’s Ned Lamont, Michigan’s Gretchen Whitmer and Virginia’s Ralph Northam.

As for Cuomo, I noted that few Americans have battled the virus quite like the governor of New York, a state under siege. I noted that I feel for him. I also said that I wish he would fight to stop the loss of innocent life from abortion.
