Local students shine at Junior Livestock Show

Body

The 48th Annual Canadian County Junior Livestock Show brought young people from throughout Canadian County to the fairgrounds over the weekend.

Like previous years, it was a full house in the agriculture building. Hundreds of cattle, pigs, sheep and goats were packed both inside and outside the barn. Some of these creatures will eventually enter the food market. For now, they are the pride and joy of their young handlers.
