Former oil field hand hopes to strike gold with fitness center

Body

Dallion Broomfield spent 12 years working in Oklahoma’s oil fields. But he always had a dream of owning his own fitness center.

Last week, that dream came true. In El Reno.

A native of Yukon, Broomfield has opened Absolute Fitness at 1705 Investors Ave.

The 24-hour gym is family-owned and Broomfield said it's “the only gym in town” that offers on-site child care while parents work out.

“Starting my own gym has been a dream of mine for six years,” said Broomfield.
