So just how big was El Reno High School’s victory over Ardmore last week?

A quick look at the District 5A-1 football standings speaks volumes going into Thursday night’s game at Memorial Stadium against the Duncan Demons.

“This was a heck of a victory to have. Ardmore has always been one of the top teams in our district and last year they were district champs and state runner-up. This was a big win for us,” said senior running back Kord LaFoe.

Letter to the Editor: Taylor family thanks

Body

To the Editor:

On behalf of the Taylor family, we want to publicly thank The El Reno Tribune, the El Reno community, El Reno Public Schools, and particularly Brian Rukes and his many students who worked diligently on the Remember 44 Project that was celebrated this past Friday.

It was an honor and privilege to help celebrate and memorialize the lives of 44 great patriots, including our uncle, Bion Leigh Taylor, who gave their lives for our country during World War II. These patriots truly were of the Greatest Generation.
