DUNCAN - A six-game win streak spanning five years came to an end last week as Lawton MacArthur defeated El Reno High School’s fast-pitch softball team twice in the 2025 Class 5A Region 1 Championships.

El Reno had defeated the Highlanders 11-0 earlier this season and logged a 100-17 edge in runs scored over the win streak, dating back to 2020. Four of those wins came in the regional playoffs, two in 2023 and twice last season.
