Arlene Caryl Imboden Grimsley was born Oct. 5, 1936, to Clarence and Mildred (Sawallisch) Imboden at their home on Route 66 in El Reno, Oklahoma.

On Nov. 11, 2025, Arlene was reunited with her parents and sisters when she passed away peacefully in Yukon, Oklahoma.

A proud graduate of El Reno High School’s Class of 1954, Arlene went on to attend her beloved Oklahoma State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and was a member of Chi Omega sorority. She later completed a master’s degree in education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University.

El Reno High School October Students of the Month are Jayleen Reyes, Isaac Miller, Melany Mendoza, Gavin Basler, Mary Gonzalez, Garrett Wells, Katie Castanon and Hezakiya Satepauhoodle.

Riverside recently celebrated basketball homecoming with victories against the Friend Falcons.

Sandra Lynn Tatum of Union City took her heavenly flight on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025, to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, her parents, brother, and the many who have gone before her.

A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14 at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary, Yukon. Pastor Eric Stock and her nephew, Kory Bollinger will be officiating the service. Interment will be in the Union City Cemetery.
