El Reno lawyers elected to Oklahoma Bar board

Two El Reno attorneys were recently elected to serve on the Oklahoma Bar Association’s governing board.

Jana L. Knott was elected to serve as the 2026 president-elect, and Kristy E. Loyall was elected to serve a three-year term as a governor representing Supreme Court Judicial District 9, which consists of Caddo, Canadian, Comanche, Cotton, Greer, Harmon, Jackson, Kiowa and Tillman counties. They will be part of the OBA’s 17-member Board of Governors, which meets monthly and governs the association.

Youth treatment center celebrates 20th anniversary

In October, the Children’s Justice Center celebrated the 20th anniversary of its Fort Reno Adolescent Center and behavioral health programs.

The Fort Reno Adolescent Center is a 12-bed residential treatment program serving youth ages 13 to 17 who are struggling with substance use. For two decades, the program has made a meaningful difference in the lives of young people in Canadian County, providing essential treatment and support during a critical stage of development.

Redlands opens enrollment for spring, summer terms following record gains

After marking its eighth consecutive semester of enrollment growth this fall, Redlands Community College is opening enrollment for spring and summer classes.

The continued increase in enrollment highlights the college’s strong academic programs and its commitment to providing accessible, high-quality education.

“Our continued growth shows that students recognize the value of an education that leads directly to career opportunities,” said Redlands President Jena Marr.
