Caps off to you, veterans!

Each flag carried a tag with the name of a veteran being honored.

The flags were purchased by loved ones and proceeds from the sale go to the school’s Gifts for the Yanks drive.

See Wednesday’s edition for coverage of the assembly.

El Reno has attracted more commercial investment, said Jerry Hocker of Hocker and Associates of Oklahoma City.

Hocker said two of three parcels owned by Redlands Community College along South Country Club have been sold.

As reported earlier, Waffle House purchased .98 acres in August. Purchase price was $275,000, Hocker said. He said the restaurant will be built on the frontage lot on the south edge of the RCC campus.
