CASA jingles and mingles its way into the holidays

Body

Canadian County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) annual volunteer appreciation Christmas Jingle & Mingle was held last week at Christ’s Church of Yukon.

Executive Director Dana Lutz said the event helps the organization reach even more children.

“We host the annual holiday party as an appreciation for our volunteers,” Lutz said.

“We provide gifts for the children on their caseload. If we have extras, they go to children in DHS (Department of Human Services) custody that don’t have a CASA volunteer.”
