Kyle Wilson Toal

Kyle Wilson Toal, age 67, beloved husband, father, brother and friend, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2023.

Kyle was born April 10, 1955, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Nelda and Thurman Toal. The family, which included Kyle’s twin sister, Lisa and older sister, Cindy, moved often, and growing up, Kyle attended nine different schools in Iowa, Illinois and Oklahoma. The frequent moves made the family stronger … surroundings would change but the family core was strong, adaptable and resilient.

Mary Charlene Barr

Graveside services for Mary Charlene Barr were held March 4 at Evergreen Cemetery in Minco under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home.

Charlene passed away Feb. 27, 2023, in El Reno. She was born July 5, 1930, in McQueen. She was raised in Minco, graduating from Minco High School in 1948. Charlene had worked as head cook in the Minco School lunchroom and later for Woodworth’s Hardware and then the Grady County Treasurer’s Office.

She taught Sunday school for many years at Minco First Baptist Church.

Funeral services for Kathryn Sue Dorey will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 4 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau with Jim Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau, under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home.

Kathy passed away Sunday, Feb. 26, 2023. Her kind and gentle spirit has gone to be with her dad in heaven. She has a new healthy body.

Kathy was born Sept. 8, 1961, in El Reno. She was the daughter of Louis and Mary Sue Dorey.

Ronald Carl Hopkins

Body

Funeral services for Ronald Carl Hopkins will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 4 at Red Rock United Methodist Church with burial following in the Red Rock Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.

Ronald was born Oct. 24, 1938, in Ada, and went to heaven on Feb. 27, 2023, in Oklahoma City after a brief illness.

Ronald was the beloved son of Bernie and Virginia (Arnold) Hopkins.

Billie Ruth Taylor

Funeral services for Billie Ruth Taylor will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 6 in the Benson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Paul Roach officiating. Burial will follow at the El Reno Cemetery under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home. 

Billie died Feb. 27, 2023, at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City. She was born Aug. 9, 1959, in Okarche.

She was lifelong resident of El Reno and was employed at Diffie Motors. 

RDell McMahan

In the early dawn hours of Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27, 1952, RDell McMahan was born to Ramona Alice (Nail) McMahan and Joseph Samuel “Sam” McMahan Jr. at the Okarche Memorial Hospital in Okarche, Okla.

Wayman LeRoy Smith, 80, passed away Feb. 8, 2023, at his home in Moore, surrounded by family.

LeRoy was preceded in death by his infant son; brother, Lonny Ray; father, Grady Wayman; and mother, Florence Estella Slate Smith.

Karen Jo Bullock

Karen Jo Bullock was born Sept. 29, 1952, in Downey, Calif. She was 70 years old.

On Jan. 12, 2023, Karen passed away in her home in El Reno, where she had lived for 40 years.

Karen was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Neal Bullock; her parents, Billy Joe Kitchens and Eva (Penny) O’Dell Kitchens; and her dog and friend, Jobe.

Margaret Hamilton Anquoe

Margaret Carrie Hamilton Anquoe was born Jan. 27, 1941, to Walter Roe Hamilton and Agnes Louise Rowlodge.

She made her journey to heaven on Feb. 15, 2023, surrounded by her family members. 

She is survived by her husband, James Harold Anquoe Sr.; daughter, Lisa Diane Anquoe; sons, James Harold Anquoe Jr. and Hepanna Eric T. “Rick” Anquoe; great-grandsons, Curtis Youngbear and Avery Charles Blackowl; and granddaughter, Maceah Morton of the home.
