To ease the economic pain, the Golden Arches are making sure kids get a free meal. From March 23-27, El Reno McDonald’s will provide free dinners to kids ages 14 and younger, no questions asked. The idea came from Brian LaPat, owner and operator.
This special meal is available at the drive-thru from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The dinner includes buttermilk chicken tenders, apple juice, apple slices and a cookie.
Children must be in the car. A modified drive-thru experience will be staffed by the LaPat family and their friends. Visitors must stay in their cars. Parents can bring their kids through each night if they choose, getting a free meal for them each time. The offer is once per evening for each child. No purchase is necessary, but customers are welcome to buy meals for adults as well.
