The city of El Reno will make changes to public accessibility of city buildings and city operating procedures.

As of last Friday, there were no confirmed cases in El Reno but that is expected to change.

The city of El Reno will follow the CDC guidelines and directions from Gov. Stitt regarding the shutdown of restaurants, bars, etc.

It is recommended people maintain 6-feet social distancing and limit 10 or less people in any area at one time.

In order to minimize exposure between citizens and employees during the COVID-19 pandemic, the city will alter the way it conducts business, while still maintaining services.

The changes are as follows: City Hall/Municipal Building, Police Station and Public Safety Center/Fire Station 1 will be lobby-access only.

The Utilities Office on Spur Lane, El Reno Carnegie Library, Senior Citizens Center and City Garage will be closed to the public.

The Cemetery Office and Fire Station 2 will be exterior-only access by intercom or doorbell.

The Crimson Creek Golf Course and El Reno Regional Airport will remain open with precautions in place.

No rentals will be available for the Northwest Community Center, RV Clubhouse or park pavilions.

The Denny-Crump Rodeo Arena may be rented by an individual only. City-sponsored events at the Centre Theatre are canceled.

For water bill or municipal court payments, payments may be made by phone, kiosk, mail, online or by drop box.

For water start-up service, visit the exterior lobby at City Hall on Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays.

For municipal court payment plans or arrangements, visit the exterior lobby on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
