Big idea, tiny library

Body
There’s a new library open. It’s about 19 inches tall, 15 inches wide and made out of wood. Dubbed the Little Free Library, this new addition at Iron Tree Coffee Co. is an opportunity for the public to read on the go. As people sip their mochas, they can open up the little wooden box and take out any book they want. They don't have to return the books either, but if they're so inclined, they can leave one of their own for another reader to find.

Ex tag agency worker charged with one count of embezzlement

Body

Police say a former El Reno Tag Agency employee embezzled some $66,000 over a two-year period.

On Wednesday, Julie Kay Armold, 50, was arrested and charged in Canadian County District Court with one felony count of embezzlement of more than $15,000.

The funds were allegedly taken while Armold served as office manager for the tag agency.

El Reno police said officers were contacted May 3, 2018, by Amanda Bosler, who at the time was the tag agent for the El Reno office.

Bosler told police she believed Armold had been embezzling funds from the agency.
