Cougars snap Region 2 losing streak, drop road game in Texas to FPC

Two days after snapping a losing streak with a conference win over Eastern Oklahoma State College, Redlands Community College men’s basketball team dropped an 81-46 contest in Texas to Frank Phillips College.
Redlands slipped to 5-6 on the season with the road split after defeating the Mountaineers 74-64 to move to 1-2 in the NJCAA Region 2 standings.
The Cougars scoring was spread all over the roster for the two games as Anthony Turner scored 21 points total with five rebounds. Jayhden Moncrease followed with 19 points and three boards, while Nick Rodriguez logged 13 points.
Jordan Kwende chipped in 12 boards and 12 points, while K.D. Jolly was held to nine points and three caroms.
