El Reno High School coaches will be offering several camps aimed at youth development in their particular sports in the upcoming weeks.
El Reno boys basketball coach Kale Simon will hold his Indians Boys Basketball Camp starting Monday morning at Jenks Simmons Field House.
Daily camp hours will run from 9 a.m. until noon.
Cost for the camp will be $50 per camper and includes a T-shirt and free lunch daily. Early registration is urged but you can still sign up at 8 a.m. on the first day of the camp.
Skill sets to be taught include defensive concepts, ball-handling and dribbling, shooting fundamentals, passing and catching and a positive mental approach to the game.
There will be daily league play as well as competitions for free-throw shooting, 3-point shooting and Hot Shot. There will be awards passed out for Most Improved as well as competitions.
The camp will be open to boys entering grades second through eighth.

Jennifer Douglas will hold her Lady Indians Basketball Camp June 10-12 at Jenks Simmons Field House. Cost will be $50 per camper and daily camp hours are 9 a.m. until noon.
Camp fee includes a T-shirt and a free lunch and there will be a concession stand set up for campers to buy items during breaks.
Parents can set up an account for concession stand use at the start of the camp.
The camp will have agility drills and competitions like 3-on-3, Knock Out, Dribble Wars and Hot Spot.
Defensive drills taught will feature ball skills, stance and form techniques, rebounding, footwork exercises and weakside defense. Offensive skills to be taught include ball-handling, passing, form shooting, post moves and dribble moves.

Keith Hill will hold his El Reno Baseball Camp June 11-12 at the Hub Reed Complex. The camp will offer prizes and T-shirts and will stress the fundamentals of baseball in hitting, pitching, defensive techniques and base running.
Camp fee is $40 if registration is made by June 5. Cost increases to $50 per camper after June 5.
The camp runs from 9 a.m. until noon both days and is open to players entering kindergarten to sixth grade.
