El Reno first baseman Kenzi Mutzig runs under a foul ball during a recent home game.

El Reno High School's softball team had its three-game win streak snapped last week by Carl Albert as the Titans closed out a perfect run through the district with a 16-5 win over the Indians.

While the Titans laid claim to the District 5A-1 crown, El Reno slipped to 11-15 on the season and 5-8 in the league standings. The Indians were in fifth place heading into a makeup game with Guthrie this week to close out 5A-1 action.

El Reno fell behind 14-0 against the Titans before scoring two runs in the fourth inning. With Taryn Wahweah and Realyn Kouba on bases with back-to-back singles, Bailey Brothers had a one-bagger and the Titans committed a pair of errors to push the runs home.

In the top of the fifth, Makylah Hunt and Kenzi Mutzig walked ahead of an RBI-single by Ashlee Houston. Brothers singled to load the bases ahead of a walk by Jayci Hicks and a one-bagger from Emily Ryan.

El Reno had 11 hits in the game, highlighted by doubles from Hunt and Ryan. Wahweah, Brothers, Hunt and Ryan all had two hits each.

Sidney Barber singled as did Houston and Kouba.

Tori Webster took the loss from the circle after allowing 16 runs off 21 hits and a walk.
