Clorine Kathleen Loggins

On Feb. 20, 1938, in El Reno, Clorine Kathleen Robinson-Loggins was born to the late Rev. Theodore and Clorine (Deloney) Robinson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Loggins; a daughter, Sena Robinson; and her five brothers, Prentice, Rev. Roy, Rev. Theodore, Clarence and Lawrence Robinson.

Clorine accepted Christ at an early age and she was a faithful member of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church. Over the years, she served in several different capacities including member of the Women’s Missionary Society, choir member, Steward, church treasurer and church secretary. She was also a regular attendant of weekly Bible study until she was no longer able to attend.

Clorine was educated in El Reno Public Schools. She received an associate of arts degree as a registered nurse from Los Angeles Valley College, and later obtained both a bachelor and master of science in nursing degree.

In May and December 2006, she obtained certificates to become a Clinical Skills Observer. She served as a nurse at St. Anthony Hospital and Parkview Hospital and an instructor at Canadian Valley Technology Center.

Clorine was active in her community and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Clorine leaves to cherish her loving memories a grandson, Thomas James Martin Robinson; sister-in-law, Jessie Louise Robinson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  

Viewing and visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Wilson Funeral Home, and on Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the El Reno Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
