Memorial services for Emma Marin of El Reno will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 19, 2019, at First Baptist Church, 541 Mercy Drive, El Reno.
Emma passed away Aug. 8, 2019, at Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was born Dec. 10, 1963, in Austin, Texas. Growing up in Austin, Emma also lived in Colorado and California before Oklahoma. She was employed in shipping/receiving/warehouse at Dexter Axle for 12 years, Exiss Trailers for three years and real estate investment/rental properties for 10 years in El Reno.
Emma loved her little town of El Reno. She loved her family, keeping the home immaculate. Dancing, singing, cooking, gardening, decorating, exploring, camping, travel and visiting family were her passions.
She was a wife, mother and proud “Gammy” grandmother of Aaron and Kiera Everett of El Reno, Briana and Liliana Rowland of San Jose, Calif., and Sage (Jax) Montez of El Dorado Hills, Calif. She loved her grandchildren with all her heart.
She is survived by her husband, John Zawlocki of El Reno; sons, Michael Everett of Calumet and Carlton Fisher of Albuquerque, N.M.; daughters, Monique Montez and Roxann Everett of El Reno; brothers, Albert Marin of El Reno, Daniel Marin and Sammy Hernandez of Austin, Texas; sisters, Irene Marin of Oklahoma City, Elizabeth Marin of Austin, Texas, and Antonia Marin of Palo Alta, Calif.; Emma’s mother, Frances Lau of Phoenix, Ariz.; also, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, Martha, Marlene, Merlene and Carlos of Austin, Augustine, Cynthia, Lino and Babe of Post, Texas, and Nelda and Christine from Dallas.
