Funeral services for Linda K. Schweitzer will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018, at Sacred Heart Church with Deacon Lloyd Menz officiating. Burial will be in the Red Rock Cemetery in Calumet. Services are under the direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home.
Linda died Nov. 25, 2018, at her home in Calumet. She was born Nov. 25, 1944, in El Reno and was a lifelong resident of Canadian County, living in El Reno and Calumet. A homemaker, Linda was active during her children’s school years as a member of the Hillcrest P.T.A. and a Brownie leader.
There were many things she enjoyed: equestrian events and flowers, but mostly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
On June 23, 1962, she married Bob G. Schweitzer in Archer City, Texas. Bob survives her in death. She is also survived by her children, Robbie S. Schweitzer and wife, Lena, Debbie Harrison and husband, Coleman, and April Novak and husband, Pat, all of El Reno; grandchildren, Lauren Cullen and husband, Michael, Joel Harrison and wife, Mellissa, Briley Peters and husband, Ryan, Breagan Schweitzer and Lidy K. Novak; great-grandchildren, Michael Joe Cullen, Harrison Cullen and Conrad Robert Peters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, George and Dorothy (Hamby) Gleason, and a sister, Darla Elmenhorst.
