Odellia Maye Henderson

Funeral services for Odellia Maye Henderson will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 16, 2019, in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the El Reno Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.

Odellia was born Aug. 11, 1927, to her parents, George and Retta (Sanders) Lehman near St. Louis, Okla. She attended school at Fair Valley, Cloverdale and St. Louis before graduating from Binger High School in 1944. She married Fred Olen Henderson on Aug. 11, 1945, whom she shared 30 years with before his passing.

Odellia spent many years at the Canadian County Election Board, TG&Y and Braum’s. She was a faithful member of the 27th Street Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Henderson; her parents, George and Retta Lehman; brother, Eugene Lehman; and her great-grandchildren, Daniel Conner and Michael Conner IV.

She is survived by her sister, Elaine Greer; sister-in-law, Judy Lehman; brothers, Alvin Lehman, Carl Lehman and Leroy Lehman and wife, Pat. She is also survived by all her children, Carol and Mike Conner Sr., Linda Cason and Ron Daugherty, Donna Ford, Rick Henderson and Diana and Bill Reed; her grandchildren, Mike Jr. and Denise, Marty and Jamie, Michelle and Richie, Tricia and Jay, Steven and Susie, Shane and Lauren, Jay and Kristina, George Fredrick, Cyndi, Amanda and Eddie, Bo and Traci, Aaron and Brooke, Aubrie and Maycie; her great-grandchildren, Jennifer and Adam, Michael III and Tori, Andrew, Mathew, Jason, Hanna, Haley and Wes, Emily, Chas and Brittany, Kelsey and Dan, Jordan and Natalie, McKenzie, Hailey, Landon Jay, Sarah and Josh, Sydney, Steven Jay, Sophia, Makayla, Micah, Keison, Kambrie, Kallie, Landon, Austin, Gavin, Jordan and Spencer; and her great-great-grandchildren, Measia, Monicia, Aereona, Adin, Avigayil, Kristina, Karsyn, John Michael, Asher, Liam, Zane, Kash, Gywn, Charlie, Jaycie, Dallas and Cason.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be sent to Russell-Murray Hospice in memory of Mema Henderson, as she was lovingly known to all.
