Here are the names, rank, service branch and dates of death of the 43 known former El Reno Public Schools students who served in World War II and died as the result of their service.

If you know of any others who should be added and you have historical information showing that they indeed meet those same qualifications, email brukes@elrenops.org.

A rededication ceremony and unveiling of a new monument honoring these 43 individuals is tentatively planned for Friday, Sept. 27, 2019, at Memorial Stadium before that evening’s home football game.

Individuals listed below with an asterisk before their name were not included in the original Memorial Stadium dedication in 1949, but research has indicated these individuals did attend El Reno Public Schools, did serve in World War II and did die while either in or as a result of their service (the same standard used with the original 38).
