Union City High School's volleyball team dropped its eighth straight match last week, falling in three games to Class 4A's 11th-ranked Corn Bible Academy.
The Tigers 13-25/9-25/10-25 setback dropped their season record to 2-10.
Union City logged only two kills in the match, one each from Kyra Murphy and Laura Canady. Victoria Michalicka led all setters with 11 and two assists.
The Tigers scored only once off the back line on an ace by Jessica Yancey. Union City did lower its missed serve count to six.
On defense it was Amanda Red logging five blocked shots and six digs. Murphy had nine digs in the loss, followed by eight from Canady and three from Yancey.
Michalicka and Tessa Christian had two digs each.
