Etta Dale Junior High's eighth-grade girls basketball team picked up its first road win of the season last week, defeating Chickasha 41-14.
The win lifted the Indians to 2-0 on the season.
El Reno got three points in the first period by Paige Sellers and two each from Teresa Blurton and Mercedes Hill to take a 7-4 lead. The Indians padded that lead with an 11-4 run in the second period, led by Baleigh Owens and Sellers with four points each, to lead 18-8 at the half.
El Reno capped the win with a 23-6 break over the final two periods.
Blurton scored a game-high 12 points, nine in the fourth period, followed by Sellers with nine points and Owens and Hill with six each. Reagan Herren added four points, while Nicole Graham and Sadie Colbert had two points apiece.
